Psychiatric Assessment
In most cases, a pill is not the answer. Medication, however, can often be a very useful tool to help clients reach their goals. Once the Psychiatric Assessment has been completed, we will discuss a variety of treatment options. If we decide medication would be helpful, on-going evaluation will be done to monitor for any side effects, assess efficacy, and adjust dosage. Often medication is used in the short term and once the objective has been met, it can be slowly tapered and discontinued.
